What is the State treasury bill?
 

This is the State debt obligations that are issued in paperless form and placed by Kyrgyz Republic Government.
 

  • STB are ensured by State property
  • Time period-3,6,12,18, and 24 months
  • Nominal price of one bill is 100 soms
  • Initially bills are sold at the market price, which are determined at the Kyrgyz Republic National Bank auction.


The income from STB is formed from the difference (discount) of nominal price and purchase price.
 

What can you do with STB?
 

You can sell STB before they were paid off on the secondary market, if you will need money. You can keep them until paying off and at the end of the time period you can get nominal price of STB.
